The other morning there was an interesting debate on one of the morning shows regarding Thanksgiving. I found it very funny and thought who really cares so I almost changed channels.
But, I didn’t before I could change channels I got roped in to their debate over which was more important the Turkey and Dressing or the sides (of course I thing as Dressing as a side). Oh, side note you may already know this I did not (my kitchen and I don’t exactly see eye to eye at times), if you stuff your Turkey then it’s called Stuffing, if you prepare it outside the bird it’s called Dressing. I just have always called it Stuffing. Who know….
At any rate as I was saying both sides made really good arguments for whats the most important. So I asked my self what’s more important to me the Turkey or the sides – I’d have to say sides. I like Turkey, but I love the sweet potatoes, rolls, pies, “Dressing”. Then I polled my family and funny enough they we’re all side people as well.
So, what are you? Are you a Turkey’s more important kind of person or a Sides are more important kind of person? Ask your family – it’s a fun little poll. Ask them why they voted the way they did. Comment back on what’s your vote Turkey or Sides and why.
Also, as Thanksgiving approaches just remember no matter what your situation is there is always 1 thing we can be grateful for.
Have a Blessed Thanksgiving everyone!

Something to think about the next time you enter into a conversation with someone.
THINK before you speak —
T – is what you’re about to say True
H – is what you’re about to say Helpful
I – is what you’re about to say Inspiring
N – is what you’re about to say Necessary
K – is what you’re about to say Kind
