We hope everyone had a very Blessed Easter weekend.

We’ve been extremely busy.  With Nutronix’s, BT, The Networkers Club we started a few weeks ago, which is going like hotcakes.  Now we’ve added a little more excitment to the mix – our kiddos are going to be in feature movie, I’m the script supervisor and my hubby well, let me just say he’s a “jack of all trades” kind of guy – he’s helping out on the audio/video side and what ever else is needed.  It’s a real family affair you might say.

For awhile now we’ve all been very fascinated with how movies are made.  We’re kind of odd that way, we enjoy the behind the scenes footage of a movie sometimes even more than the movie itself.  We’ve done a couple of demo shoots already, had our script orientation the other day which was a total blast.  Needless to say it’s been very exciting.  I’ll keep you posted as the project moves forward.  We are slated to film in July.

You’re going to love this movie.  It’s hilarious, touching, a bit sad in spots, and adventurous.  During the script read thru we were rolling with laughter and at times a tear or two with the very real subject matter.  It’s a great kids movie and the adults will love it.  I’ll let you know when it’s about to hit the theaters.

I pray that where ever you are you are out there experiencing life and not just sitting on your laurels’.  What ever you do in life it all begins with what?  Action.  That’s right it all begins with the ACTION you take.  As you can imagine I hear people say at times “this business doesn’t work”  One of my main questions I ask is “what are you doing?”.  Just about in every case they have taken no real Action to build their business.  They lack taking any Action.  If we had never taken the risk to go to the movie tryouts, guess what we wouldn’t be in a movie.

The same is true in paving a better financial future for yourself, if you never take that first step and take some ACTION, guess what a year from now you’ll be in the same boat in your in now.  Take a baby step if need be, get into a business with little or no risk.  The point is what are you waiting for, take some positive ACTION today to move your life forward for a better tomorrow.

Have a Blessed Day!

Hello All,

I wanted to share a poem my daughter wrote from scratch yesterday.

Wrong doing you should never begin

Obeying God is the way to win

Start your day in prayer

And do to others with care

You cannot get away with sin

The insights of a young girl.  Wow!  See we all have the power within us one step at a time to change the world.  What step will you take today?

Take part in reef conservation.  Recent reports suggest that our coral reefs are in trouble and we have about 8-10 years left to rescue them.  It’s not just about having pretty corals to look at it’s about the cycle of life and helping our environment.

PADI Americas will match dollar for dollar every individual contribution to Project AWARE’s conservation initiatives up to $30,000 us until March 15th.Your gift will help equip Project AWARE and its global dive volunteers to with tools to:

  • Monitor fragile coral reefs for signs of stress and bleaching around the world.
  • Assess information and help improve resource management of reefs threatened by global warming and other human pressures.
  • Raise awareness about climate change among divers, tourists and the general public.
  • Support protected areas and other sustainable ecosystem management tactics.

Show your support and double your gift today! Thank you for your commitment to aquatic conservation.

MRSA what’s that?  MRSA is the new superbug.  It stands for Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).  Basically it’s a bacterium responsible for difficult-to-treat infections in humans.  I’m sure you’ve all heard of Staph infections, well MRSA is a Staph infection that has become resistant to antibiotics.  So, while it is true that Staph is all around us we never know when it might turn into MRSA.  MRSA is serious and it can be fatal.

Some causes of MRSA are our over use of antibiotics.  For years society has taken antibiotics for colds, flu, viral infections – the funny thing is antibiotics have no effect on these type of infections.  Antibiotics can also be found in our food and water.  In some cases even when antibiotics are used correctly the germ mutates.

So if you get MRSA what can you do?  Vancomycin is what doctors often rely on to treat MRSA, but some hospitals are already seeing various forms of MRSA that are less easily killed by vancomycin.   Did you know that 1/3 of the population are now carriers of MRSA in North America?  People with MRSA can get very painful boils and some treatments can cost up around $65,000 and still not treat the bacteria.

There is hope.  Equip yourself with our New Silver Solution and Silver Gel.  It kills MRSA.  There is no known mutation form that survives.

So why wait until you or someone you know comes down with MRSA.  Be prepared.  I’ve talked about the Silver before in the fact that our family takes it everyday and what it’s done for us, but I just can’t stress enough how everyone really needs to have these products on their shelf at all times.   Our New Silver Solution and Silver Gel, it sure does kill the bacteria.  It is our families’ first line of defense!  Make it yours!

Have you made your New Year’s Resolution yet?  If you listen to any of the morning shows that’s all they’ve been talking about in one way or another lately.  Any more I really don’t make New Year’s Resolutions instead I focus on the whole year, it’s more of a life change or goal.  I use too make New Years Resolutions, but by the time Feburary came around I would have already forgotten what I was so gun-ho about.

As I’m in the process of setting my 09 goals I heard it said the other day and I really like this analogy, it was suggested that you look at your 2008 as a movie and play it back in your mind.  As you replay the events of your life that occurred in 2008, was it everything you had hope or wanted it to be.  Did you accomplish the things you wanted too?  Did you embrace life or did life just pass you by?  Did you do or learn the things you set out to learn?  Did you travel to the places you wanted to travel too?  Did you actually volunteer somewhere of just think about volunteering?  If you think of it in terms of a football game – were you in the stands or did you get in the game?  As you play back your movie make note of anything you would have done different.

Now, write your script for your upcoming movie.  Write out what you would like to achieve in 2009.  When it comes to January 2010, how will your 2009 movie play back?

So, instead of having a New Years Resolution why not have a life plan for 2009.  Get in the game, don’t let another year just pass you by.  Live life to the fullest!

May 2009 be our best year yet!

From our Family to Yours – Merry Christmas!

May you also have a safe and Happy New Year!

Did you guys see the news this morning?  Sandy Vinge, a 75 yr. old grandma was badly beaten and held captive for 26 hours.  You can read the whole story on MSNBC Today Show.  What an outrage!  Our prayers go out to Sandy and her family.

You have to admire Sandy’s spirit.  Her sweet spirit was shinning ever so brightly during her interview.  Very inspiring!

It is a reminder for all of us to be mindful of our surroundings, who we let in our home, and to do what we can to watch out for our neighbors.

Be careful out there this Christmas season.  Things are tough for a lot of people.  Be Kind, Be Aware, Be Helpful to those in need.  We love the Christmas season at our household, but remember the true meaning of Christmas is not about us or what we get.

Merry Christmas!
Jul

In all of life what you do matters!  Every choice we make has an outcome, some for the good and some not so good.

I humbly ask you to be aware of your choices and how they impact you, your family, and the world around you.

I just got an email today from Project AWARE.  It is sad to see such senseless nonsense when this seals death could have been prevented.

Take care of Gods creation and it will take care of you.

Amazing Grace has been a long time favorite song of mine. If you think about the words they are so powerful and freeing. It brings tears to my eyes when I deeply ponder how much God loves us by sending his son – Amazing. Before our daughter was born we would sing this song to her and to this day, almost 11 years later, it still has a calming effect on her.

Little did we know, that at age 2 1/2 she would be diagnosed Epileptic. Any of you familiar with Epilepsy know how trying it can be, needless to say we’ve had many occasions to sing Amazing Grace.

As I have been listening to the news, reflecting on the struggles most of us are having with the economy the way it is, and being inspired by a 12 year old boy who put others above himself by paving a way for handicap children to ride a train I wanted to share this song of great hope with you.

Here is a video of Chris Tomlin singing his version of Amazing Grace. And yes, for those who believe we have been set free.

I pray this song brings you a peace and opens up a world of amazing opportunities for you.

That’s right, I hate to admit it but I’ve been scammed.  I don’t know about you, but when someone is talking to me I try to be discerning in what they’re saying.  But I’m sure this time the person was thinking “gotch ya”.

We were at one of our favorite restaurants eating a late lunch.  We had the 2 kiddos with us.  We were ordering from our menus and the kids where ordering from the kids menu.  When the waitress took our order she asked “do they want lids”?  She was referring to the kids drinks.  For our 10 year old we said no, but the 8 year old we said yes.  (ok, our 8 year old is a boy – need I say more as to why he gets a lid (smile), and I mean that in the sweetest way.

When our waitress brought out our drinks I thought it odd that she brought our daughter such a huge glass of milk.  But we were talking and I didn’t give it much thought except for the initial shock.

We had a great meal.  Got the check, double checked the bill, and long and behold, for my daughters drink we were charged a full adult price instead of the child’s price.  I thought wow, that was smooth.  Normally, you’re asked would you like a small or lager – if you say large you know you’re going to be charged more.  Never in a million years would I have thought by “do they want lids” that I was being upsized.  What a sneaky approach, we had been scammed.  Needless to say I was not happy – I don’t like it when people try to pull a fast one on me (or anyone else for that matter).

Yes, it was only $2.29 instead of $.99, but it’s the principle of it.  Deception is one thing I have a very low tolerance for.  It just goes to show us that in all of life we need to be aware of what’s going on.
